Become a Friend of HemiHelp

What is Friends of HemiHelp?

HemiHelp is looking for enthusiastic people to help us raise much needed funds in order to continue to provide and develop services for children and families affected by hemiplegia.

All we ask is that you pledge to fundraise for HemiHelp at least once a year.  This could include being sponsored for a sporting challenge or organising a fundraising event, such as a party, concert or readathon.  We will also give you a collection box for you to either keep at home for your loose change or place in your local pub or shop.

 

How to become a Friend of HemiHelp:

All you have to do is download and complete the pledge form, send it back to us and you are ready to go!

 

What you will receive:

Once we have received a signed copy of the pledge form, we will send you a Friends of HemiHelp Fundraising Pack, which will include:

  • Fundraising ideas and guidance
  • Promotional materials - balloons, raffle tickets, posters etc               
  • HemiHelp T-shirt
  • Discount vouchers for HemiHelp events and merchandise
  • HemiHelp collection box
  • Support from our Fundraising Co-ordinator, who will provide helpful hints and tips and assist with media relations

 

What are the benefits of becoming a Friend of HemiHelp?

  • Your event stories will be featured on the Friends page of the website
  • You will receive a certificate of achievement
  • Discount vouchers for HemiHelp events and merchandise
  • Prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers

 

Fundraising Ideas:

Stuck for ideas on how to raise money for HemiHelp?  Why not give some of these a try!

  • Organise a tea party or coffee morning
  • Have a cake sale
  • Have a spring clean!  Sell your items at a car boot sale and donate the proceeds to HemiHelp
  • Organise a sponsored walk / run / bike ride / swim
  • Organise a readathon / danceathon
  • Organise a concert / poetry recital / play
  • Take a stand at the village fete
  • Be brave - Do a skydive or bungee jump!

 

So all that's left to do is complete your form and get started!
