Payroll giving
Giving through your pay is a simple, tax-effective way to give regularly. Tax relief on your donations means that a gift of just £6 could be worth up to £10 to HemiHelp!
Why give through my payroll?
Payroll donations are great for HemiHelp, as they provide us with a reliable income stream that helps us to plan longer-term.
Payroll giving lets you give to any UK charity straight from your gross salary (before tax is deducted), giving immediate tax relief on those donations. This means that if you donate £10 each month it would cost you only £7.80 as a standard rate taxpayer, or just £6 for higher rate taxpayers.
Plus, your employer could receive a grant of up to £500 when you sign up - so everybody wins!
What do I need to do?
You can give to any UK charity through your payroll, or you can split your donations between two or more charities. All you have to do is fill in a brief form with the amount you want to give and who you want to give it to.
What will my employer need to do?
Employers simply sign a contract with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA) who will transmit donations on their behalf.
Payroll giving is a very low cost, low administration scheme and the set-up grants should cover all costs. HemiHelp is registered with CAF and Charities Trust.
