Home visiting service

HemiHelp is piloting a new Home Visiting Service for families affected by hemiplegia. Under the new scheme, a home visitor will visit and support members in their own homes. The Home Visiting Service will be able to provide:

  • help with claiming Disability Living Allowance or other benefits
  • information about equipment or education
  • advice about any other issues related to your child's hemiplegia.

If you would be interested in using the Home Visiting Service, please contact HemiHelp with a brief outline of the issues you'd like to discuss.

NB: To take advantage of the Home Visiting Service you must be a member of HemiHelp. Join HemiHelp >>

Disclaimer: The Home Visiting Service aims to provide support and information for families affected by hemiplegia. We cannot advise families what to do, but we are able to share information and to signpost users to further sources of help. We are not qualified to give medical advice. HemiHelp will not be liable as a result of any action taken by a user following a conversation with a field worker.

Leaving a gift in your Will ensures that the support HemiHelp provides today will still be available for those who will need it tomorrow.
