Family conferences
HemiHelp conferences are an opportunity for parents and young people with hemiplegia to hear experts talking about all aspects of the condition, including the latest treatments and research, and practical advice about topics such as education, medical treatments and behaviour.
Forthcoming events
Our next Parent and Young Adult Conference takes place on Saturday 12th May in Newcastle.
Venue: Brunswick Methodist Church, Brunswick Place, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7BJ
Time: 10.00-16.00hrs (subject to slight change)
The conference will cover topics of interest to families and young adults – watch this space for programme details over the coming weeks and months.
In addition to the conference, we have organised two children’s workshops for the day – a singing workshop and a drama workshop which will give the kids an opportunity to meet other children with hemiplegia, possibly gain a new hobby and have a fun day out all rolled into one. Siblings welcome!
If you would like to register your interest for this event, please email our Event Co-ordinator, Samantha Lee – samantha@hemihelp.org.uk or call her on 0845 120 3713.
We look forward to seeing you there.
