Girl plays a one handed recorderDo you want to give your child the opportunity to try out new activities, increase their confidence and have some fun? Do you want to meet other families of children with hemiplegia? Then come to a HemiHelp music workshop!

Forthcoming workshops

  • Durham, POSTPONED until futher notice
  • Music & Drama Workshop, The Orpheus Centre, Surrey, 9 November

There will be activities led by experienced drama and music tutors. In the morning Ruth Kestenbaum will run a drama workshop which will consist of gentle, physical games and activities allowing children to explore their bodies, by creating different things, and experimenting with their voices with fun vocal exercises. Children will also be encouraged to work in small groups and devise drama based on a theme. The music workshop will be led by tutors from the 'Live Music Now' scheme. There will be members of the London based trumpet quartet, Bella Tromba and members of the female vocal group, Juice. The aim is to have fun and learn a little about music and drama on the way!
