If you sign up as a member to HemiHelp and pay £18 per year (just £1.50 a month!) you will receive:

• A membership pack containing the latest issue of our members' magazine, a useful names and addresses leaflet, a family and friends leaflet, a general leaflet and details of all our services.
• Our members-only magazine four times a year which features a different theme each issue. Find out more about our magazine
• Access to HemiHelp events, such as music workshops, our new drama workshops, our hugely popular "try it" activity fun days, conferences for parents and conferences for professionals.
• A free place for your family at a workshop, fun day or conference of your choice
• Access to our local group scheme which puts you in touch with other families in your surrounding area
• Access to our pen pal scheme which puts your child in touch with other child members (available for children over 5 years only)
• Access to other schemes such as the stabiliser loan scheme and the home visiting scheme.

How do I join?

It's now easier than ever to join HemiHelp - you can do it all online if you are a parent, a professional or an adult with hemiplegia.

Or alternatively, download a membership form or contact us and we'll send you one. Then complete the form and return it to us together with your donation.

How much does it cost?

We are completely dependent on voluntary donations to cover our core running costs and therefore ask for a minimum £18 annual donation from those whose circumstances allow it.

If you would like to donate more, all additional donations will be gratefully received. This money is vital in helping us reach new families, and for increasing the variety and frequency of the activities that we organise for our members. Each contribution provides the same membership benefits.

You can pay your donation when you fill in your membership form, and can choose to pay online by card, or by post. If you cannot pay the donation, please contact us when you submit your membership form to let us know.

Voting Membership

If you wish, you can also join HemiHelp as a Voting Member. Voting Members are formally members of the registered company, HemiHelp Ltd, and so receive notice of and vote at our Annual General Meeting. Voting Membership costs £10 per year in addition to any annual voluntary donation that you may make.
